Over the past 15 Years Vic Farrell has worked with and supported a wide range of artists in Sydney and Melbourne. Assisting them with promoting their music, developing websites and booking gigs at festivals. Letterbox Music is not a business or a company - it is a collective of artists who share resources and work on creative projects together.
Vic Farrell has developed a wide range of different projects that include songwriting, stage design, shadow puppets, animation and music video development and editing.

In 2013 Vic Farrell, Tim Woods and Joe Hillel collaborated to develop a song cycle to tell the story of the ongoing development of photography. The performances were accompanied with shadow puppetry.
Vic Farrell started a band in Sydney in 2001 - 2004 with Garnet Meekings, James Henry and Tim Watts. Vic decided on 'Letterbox' because of it's association with teling stories and communication. Movies are letterboxed to frame the images. Her songs are stories that paint images of ordinary contemporary life.
In 2007 Vic Farrell had written a sizable list of songs and decided to record a live concert. Brian Campeau produced the show.
In 2009 Vic created an album of songs celebrating scientific concepts, Carl Sagan and the chemical psycho-drama of love.
The next up-coming album is a set of medieval songs that celebrate middle aged women with a twist of humour. We need something cheerful after what we've been through in lockdown.
Vic Farrell's song "I Love The Land" was used for the opening credit of this SBS Documentary in 1992 about the National Folk Festival.
