About Letterbox Music

MISSION STATEMENT :

The Purpose of Letterbox Music is to promote quality Australian Songwriters. Letterbox Music is a collective of performers who pool resources and skills, a non-profit organization to help artists achieve their goals as performing artists in Australia and internationally. Letterbox Music aims to become an important independent label in the Australian music industry.

WHY LETTERBOX?

We chose Letterbox Music as our name in reaction to how other songwriting artists were packaging their music. Many songwriters take photos of themselves writing or put handwritten copies of the songs in their label art. We thought there was a better ways to convey the fact that that you're a local songwriter. Letterbox was chosen to convey a sense of "writing" as well providing a mental image of the Australia suburban landscape.

Letterbox Music is a label for artists who write songs about their contemporary Australian experiences in the suburbs; Songs that fill our minds with pictures and stories like litte movies for your soul.
